Electronic Cigarette PWN’s FDA

In a decision that astonished many of us, the Food & Drug Administration on Monday announced they'd stop trying to regulate the e-cig as drug delivery products. They will instead be regarded as tobacco products and come under the rules of the "Family Smoking Prevention & Tobacco Control Act". Introduced last year, this act gave the FDA power to regulate numerous areas of the tobacco trade such as the way they advertise and sell their products.

FDA Claims E Liquid True Danger Behind E-Cig

The e-cig controversy went viral around July of 2009 once the Food and Drug Administration released an investigation on smokefree cigarettes and their corresponding nicotine containing solution e juice identifying them as hazardous because they contained chemical substances regarded as poisonous to humans. The e cig enthusiasts fired back by appointing a prominent analysis firm to examine the FDA report and the techniques applied to obtain their conclusions. This firm found the conclusions obtained by the FDA study seemed to be invalid because the diagnostic techniques they employed had been far from those needed to produce these kinds of conclusive determinations.

Free Ecig Trial: Buyer Beware

I've been using smoke free cigarettes for about 2 years now. There isn't any doubt in my view that they've helped me completely give up smoking. I've in fact cut down my nicotine use to the lowest possible level. So when I see all the controversy about how it doesn't work and they are unhealthy, I simply ignore it as I know most of this is lies.

FDA To File Charges Against Tobacco Company

The smoke-free tobacco showdown recently exploded due to the addition of one more competitor. The pharmaceutical giant GSK (Glaxo Smith-Kline) has loaded their big guns and is aiming precisely for the new orally disintegrating nicotine products made by RJR (R.J. Reynolds). GSK has demanded the FDA require R.J. Reynolds to remove its dissolvable nicotine supplements completely from the market place. Although still in review from the FDA, RJR has launched their orally dispersed nicotine products to test markets around the nation.
